Happy Second Semester

How quickly we got to the second semester! 

Now it is our chance to read our novels together.

We will also concentrate on grammar/usage, and enhancing our writing with more informed use of various types of sentences and use of punctuation to express our thoughts. We will strengthen our vocabulary with academic vocabulary studies.

I view this as the English/Language Arts concentration quarter-as the previous semester included the first quarter as Writing Strategies concentration and the second as Reading Comprehension/Fluency concentration.

And, of course, more Shakespeare!

Students will probably need a new Interactive Notebook, but not a new journal/composition book.
